CMDB Analyst Full-time Job

Technical Skills:

ï‚· Knowledge in ServiceNow, CMDB discovery & experience handling CMDB & IT Asset Management data.

ï‚· Process knowledge on the lifecycle of the Configuration Management.

ï‚· Good understanding & experience in data model, business services, completeness of CMDB.

ï‚· Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted between CMDB, discovery information, and other authoritative production data repositories.

ï‚· Knowledge in customizing Probes and sensors in ServiceNow for the discovery.

ï‚· Knowledge in asset and configuration item identification, baseline definition, relationship mapping, and CMDB administration.

ï‚· Good understanding and experience in IT Asset management lifecycle.

ï‚· Support design, development, and implementation of automated processes for gathering, populating, and maintaining CMDB data.

ï‚· Ability to develop SQL queries and reports for management on KPIs to improve the process effectiveness, efficiency, and data accuracy.

ï‚· Ensure ITSM and CMDB alignment with ITIL v3 framework.

ï‚· Handling duplicates in CMDB.

ï‚· Work with the audit team for any audit findings

ï‚· knowledge of multiple Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and industry standard development methodologies.
