The position

As a Team Lead in Global Medical Affairs, your primary responsibilities include managing overall performance of the Rare Disease RWE PM team including timely planning and proper execution of projects and deliverables for Rare Disease RWE portfolio, along with working as Project Manager on projects. You will manage and develop team., set targets for the team and follow up on deliverables. Furthermore, you will have an oversight on all the RWE projects from Rare D Medical Affairs Portfolio. Additionally, you will define project scope, goals to be reached, expected deliverables, stakeholder mapping, estimated cost and timeline for projects and Project Lead for registry partnerships. You are entrusted to fulfil the following responsibilities:

Collaborate with Sr. Director, RWE Rare Disease in Zurich for task allocation and people development discussions Collaborate with Manager and with other team leads/employees in the department to facilitate functioning of the team in GBS and Zurich as one global team Resource planning and prioritisation of tasks to ensure optimal and flexible use of resources and monitoring and reporting of department performance Builds strategic networks with various key stakeholders to facilitate decisions that can benefit the organization. Ensures the team is aware of how stakeholders can help our business.

Qualifications

Master' s degree in Pharmacy or Ph.D. in relevant area Formal training and Experience in the field of Clinical research, Real World Evidence studies is required. Minimum formal project management training Has 5 or more years of relevant work experience. Has 2 or more years of people management experience Experience in the field of Clinical research, Real World Evidence studies is required. Additional education and experience in pharma business/marketing. Ability to coach colleagues and support team development. Strategic mindset. Ability to manage complex tasks and organizational issues. Ability to engage and collaborate with people of different cultural background Excellent written and spoken English. Teamwork skills, ability to get results through others and to work in a highly motivated team. Ability and willingness to quickly adjust to new situations in a continuously developing environment. Ability to engage and collaborate with people with different backgrounds science, business, etc. Excellent networking abilities. Experience and willingness to work in an international matrix organisation. Ability to manage complex tasks and organizational issues.

Global Medical Affairs, GBS GMA GBS is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs team in Headquarters HQ in Denmark and Zurich and is based out of Global Business Services GBS, Bangalore, India. The team consists of highly motivated scientific and medical advisors, project managers, medical illustrators and publication manager working together with HQ, regions and affiliates across the world. Our core competencies are communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organization; delivering external medical events including in-house content development and project management; and Publication planning.
