Logistics Sourcing Analytics Expert - Transportation Full-time Job

Responsibilities

Leads setting up a life cycle approach for Logistics Sourcing data analysis- establishing a structured process, system and engagement model for all RFPs, commercial initiatives.

Forward thinker to build data models, insights leveraging AI, ML or "relevant" simple excel, Access tools to drive commercial insight and value to stakeholders.

Leverage logistics operational know-how to mine data to identify opportunities and lead projects to minimize and optimize cost.

Supports in Logistics Partner selection and contract negotiations ( RFIs, RFQs, Price analysis methodology, Negotiations, Target budget and savings assessment, Risk assessment, etc.)

Cost analysis, Data Validation, Data mining, Tracking, Ad hoc analysis to support various Logistics Sourcing initiatives.

Utilize analytical tools to manage, report spend/savings and add insights for efficient business decisions.

Works with internal and external stakeholders (Global Logistics Sourcing, Finance, Contracts, Operations, Business Units, Logistics Partners, Digitalization teams, etc.)

Develop innovative approaches to review procurement process effectiveness and explore logistics solutions for customers and suppliers.

Provide recommendations on all procurement related issues, plans, reports, trainings and metrics.

Provide education and training to internal staff on procurement policies and best practices.

Analyze industry trends and market competitions to deliver business improvement initiatives.
