Position Billing Manager - Professional Services Skill Level Principal Consultant Work Site Location Remote Possible Travel Locations: Long Island, NY; Seattle, WA; Austin, TX; and Palm Springs, CA Note: On-Site travel will be required (up to twice a month). Ad Hoc on-site meetings may be required for special issues.

Responsibilities What you'll be doing...

We are looking for a Telecom Client Professional Services Billing Manager to support Large Venues Network (Data, Wi-Fi, and Voice) project financials, AIA submittals and billing administration for the client relationship (Owner, Owner Representative, Construction Manager, Architect, Engineer, and other Trades), program solution, and program lifecycle for Client's Professional Services delivery the United States. This role also may support the Client's DAS project that is associated to the Arena. This program support role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including Construction and Network program governance support, financial management, project communications, all AIA submittal activities to meet Owner, Construction Management, Architect, Engineer, and other stakeholder requirements. As the Billing Manager, you will support a team of Client's Professional Services project director, technical director, project managers, and supporting staff to deliver the Arena activities that will support interrelated Data, Wi-Fi, and VOIP network deployment projects that includes converged network system for the Arena that have been traditionally isolated systems. This individual must work collaboratively in a dynamic, face-paced environment and be able to proactively seek creative solutions to complex problems.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Work directly with the Client's staff and TPV (subcontractor) for gathering requirements to meet submittal requires and billing information of the converged network system based on the defined construction and implementation schedule for the Arena. Prepare weekly financial reports for each venue and the overall program. Manage and direct the Project AIA Administrator. Responsible for all submittal and financial billing activities for all Arena projects and meet all AIA form submittal requirements in accordance to Owner requirements. Strong foundation and understanding of AIA forms and submittal requirements. Strong foundation and understanding of Client and Owner billing requirements as stated in Contractual Agreements. Attend assigned Client's, construction, owner, owner representative, architect, engineer, and trades meetings. Ensure all AIA submittal and financial reporting (Daily, Weekly, Ad Hoc, etc.) be completed on requested/required timeframes. Maintain up-to-date submittal and financial records and all associated records (i.e. inventory management). Update Spreadsheets (Microsoft/Google), Word Processors (Microsoft/Google), and Presentations (Microsoft/Google). Experience working with Cloud Based Productivity Tools (Office 365, Google, Smartsheets) and Collaboration Tools (Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Bluejeans, Slack, Cisco Jabber). Review financial AIA submittals and AIA and/or contractual invoices for accurate information. Report to Project Director and secondary daily reporting to Arena Project Managers. Providing regular, status updates including daily progress toward achieving objectives. Using good judgment to escalate issues to Client senior management as appropriate. Assist in leveraging essential program and project management skills such as resourcing, financial management, requirements identification and tracking to milestones.

An understanding of Client Financial Management and Client Professional Services Operations. An understanding of Networking fundamentals and associated technologies in LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VOIP environments from the last mile circuit to the desktop, access point, and/or voice device. Work collaboratively in a dynamic, face-paced environment. Proactively seek creative solutions to complex problems. Must be a resourceful and customer-centric problem solver. Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Handle multiple priorities. Fluent in all layers of the OSI model.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

BS or higher OR 8+ years of experience At least 1 years of Construction Management Site Experience At least 1 years of Construction Management Safety Experience 5 years of relevant experience in financial management within professional services, IT Operations, and/or technology management consulting. Experience in construction site project financial management with focus on network infrastructure site surveys and network and infrastructure implementation projects. Knowledge of project financial management processes and principles, including experience in deliverables associated with these practices. Able to build relationships and inspire teamwork among diverse owner, construction manager, trades, and cross- functional units (architects, engineers, etc.). Must be able to execute and deliver within high pressure environments. Excellent organizational & communication skills and be able to work with a sense of urgency. The ability to work effectively under extreme time constraints and deliver against critical deadlines. Does not require direct supervision; able to take high level direction and proactively move a project or internal initiative from start to finish with minimal assistance. Able to perform a wide variety of organizational tasks and direct the work of others. Strong presentation and communication skills. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and align to business requirements. Knowledge of Agile programs and process related to infrastructure technology deployment and gathering user requirements.

The ideal candidate may have the following:

Industry finance management certification such as CPA, CFM, etc. Experience with technology construction environment project financial management, including industry and regulatory standards. Project management certification such as PMP.
