Hours will be discussed during interview.ResponsibilitiesInstalls and repairs equipment and software per IT&S standards and guidelines, including but not limited to terminals, personal computers, printers, cabling, and related software products.Responds to and resolves inquiries and requests for assistance with computer systems, and provides a superior customer support experience for Dell Medical School users.Analyzes and provides hands-on support for simple to moderate inquiries. Determines appropriate technical area or vendor to resolve the problem and coordinates with other technical areas, as needed.Logs and tracks problems in Service Now.Performs school-based moves, adds, and changes as needed.Maintains documentation for each incident or request, and escalates complex problems to the next level of support.Aids and trains users on school technology.Performs preventative maintenance.Recommends process changes that improve the implementation, maintenance and support of IT&S desktop equipment and software.Effectively works with customers, Service Desk and Technical Services personnel.Participates in meetings, committees and continuing education to improve individual, departmental and organizational performance.Maintains and protects confidentiality with regard to all aspects of patient care and employee information.Coordinates front line support of Audio/Visual equipment including video conferencing, video capturing and other technologies.Identifies and documents faults and failures within complex Audio/Visual systems.Assists with troubleshooting and minor repairs of various technology equipment, consisting of but not limited to laptops, projectors, microphones and cabling.Assists with technical walkthroughs.Forms productive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively.Cooperates with and works effectively with Information Services colleagues.Other duties as required to meet organizational goals and objectives.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of relevant experience or an Associate's Degree and limited experience.
