Job description Roles and Responsibilities

Architect and implement day-to-day SAP basis administration activities in a complex multi-tier SAP landscape. Provide operational and project support keeping focus on meeting project milestones. Ensure SAP based systems operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment. Ensure the adherence of standards and SAP best practices. Maintain close daily contact with vendor led SAP Basis team regarding assignments, work progress and statuses. Work closely with functional and business teams to adequately support Business requirements. Be accountable for the support and proactive monitoring of the core SAP applications including installation, performance, break fixes and change requests per business requirements. Architect activities during upgrades and major releases with multiple stakeholders, working with Change and Release Management teams. Research complex application/System integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP) for inconsistencies along with Integration Teams. Assist with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recovery SAP solutions. Participate in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuity.
