Flexible work arrangement (remote and on-site) which will vary from week-to-week based on scheduling of research participants.PurposeResearch coordinator position to assist PI, Dr. Scott, to conduct a sponsor-initiated research study aimed at developing an EEG biomarker to improve the detection and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.ResponsibilitiesAssist PIs to develop study protocols and procedure manualsFacilitate institutional review board (IRB) applications, submissions, and updatesEnsure completion of contract requirements and project specificationsRecruit potential research subjects, complete screening and informed consent processes and data collection proceduresMonitor recruitment and adherence to procedures/protocols to ensure optimal subject participation rates and accurate data collection and reporting through RedCap databaseDevelop and maintain timelines in coordination with PIsCollaborate with PIs and project investigators to prepare methodological notes, reports, presentations and other dissemination activities related to the project activitiesManage assigned projects with an emphasis on coordination and communication with research sponsors, investigators and research team membersHelp to facilitate project collaborations and team workOther related functions as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree neuroscience, psychology, or related field to the work to performed and three (3) years of experience coordinating or administering a program or Master's degree and one (1) year of experience. A successful candidate will have the ability to communicate with others in a clear, understandable and professional manner on the phone and in person; demonstrate use of good written and verbal communication skills; possess effective project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize and schedule work in an efficient and productive manner, focusing on key priorities and meeting deadlines; possess great attention to detail and effective follow-through; have initiative to complete tasks before being asked and be able to independently manage studies, as well as have ability to address individuals and information with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality in various delicate, formal or urgent situations; be flexible and adaptable to change.
