They will manage and develop reporting/analytical approaches to identify, measure and evaluate health-related solutions and services, partner with internal business owners to understand business objectives, pain points and design product requirements, collaborate with IT Leadership to build cloud capabilities that best leverage the right technology to meet business objectives and deliver value.This position will also be responsible for launching new technical solutions and tools to enable the business partners to achieve speed to market for data and requires having knowledge of data infrastructure and ability to drive insights through products and solutions.PurposeThe Manager of Enterprise Data Intelligence assists the Director of Enterprise Data Intelligence and Decision Sciences with the support of Dell Medical School, UT Health Austin, UT Health ASC, Health Transformation Research Institute, and community affiliates.ResponsibilitiesManage a team of data managers and analysts.Understand business needs and priorities to collaborate with leaders throughout DMS and UTHA organization and create the vision for the right business intelligence and analytics solutions.Own, create and improve the delivery and utilization of data products and platform capabilities across the organization (on prem and Cloud).Develop and manage comprehensive analyses for internal and external audiences that support the plan to achieve improvements in quality of care results across lines of business.Present analytic information and data management to various levels of customers.Provide point of coordination for customers to integrate and leverage analytics outcomes.Lead special projects, lending data expertise and actionable insights. Identify and support areas of analytical focus for the organization's service delivery/performance and evaluation of potential areas of opportunity and risk.Leverage business intelligence tools to develop, analyze and defend analytic results.Support selection, development, implementation, maintenance and training of business intelligence tools both on prem and in the AWS cloud.Work with internal departments as well as external parties to enhance the use of data and data interoperability to improve management of our core businesses.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree with a quantitative focus such as: BS in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Decision Science, Information Systems or Information Sciences. Vast SQL experience-writing queries, developing databases, mapping attributes. Expert Tableau experience required. Amazon Web Services Cloud solution knowledge and technical prowess required. Knowledge of R, Python, or Java. Knowledge of descriptive statistics, data cleaning/validation, and clinical data quality assurance. Sound knowledge of database management principles including: Data management procedures to prepare data sets for analyses; management and analysis of large, complex clinical/non-clinical data. Experience with clinical/business operations reporting. Experience working in interdisciplinary teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
