Responsibilities

Support the IBM mainframe proficientlyUse source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processesUse qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operationsEffectively manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processesCreate new methods of gathering and analyzing source data to evaluate program effectiveness and analyze business processes

Qualifications

Must have knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programsKnowledge required: z/OS, DASD, 3rd party software (Cobol, CA, ADABAS/Natural, Control M & D, Code 1)Education:Masters in Business Discipline PLUS 15 Years Experience.10 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (25 years total) Clearance: The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation Location:Austin, TXMonday - Friday (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CST Time)Telework 2 days a weekAustin Information Technology Center Department of Veteran's Affairs 1615 Woodward St Austin, TX 78741
