Responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Engineer on our Storage Services team, you'll provide strategic planning and execution of high visibility initiatives across the global landscape. On this role, you will collaborate with vendors, internal clients, peers, and leadership to influence the modernization of on prem and Cloud based storage solutions. Additionally, as business continues to change at a quicker pace the candidate will help PFG create a world class Storage automation and reporting environment while finding innovative ways for team members to access storage services throughout the world. Qualifications

We're looking for someone with: Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) and 6+ years work experience or equivalent experienceFive years of in-depth experience of IBM SAN Volume Controller (SVC), IBM V7000, NetApp and/or Pure Storage technologies 3 plus years of experience with SAN replication technologies and disaster recovery planning3 years of working knowledge of basic RAID, storage tiering, storage architecture concepts, storage virtualization, replication processes and storage best practice Experience in effectively communicating with a broad base of end users and multiple management layersExperience developing solutions in a collaborative wayFormulate strategy, advanced planning/engineering, coordination, and global standardization in key technological areas Additional preferred technical experience:Experience with SAN replication technologies and disaster recovery planningExperience monitoring, trending, performance analysis and troubleshooting storage performanceThorough knowledge on concepts of networking, virtualization, and operating systemsFind ways to automate repetitive tasks to facilitate the changing infrastructure landscape and provide the agility using one or more high level programming language2

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$86000 - $144000 / year
