As an IT Applications Administrator, you will provide basic testing support for enterprise applications as well as maintain a stable systems environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance.

Summarized Purpose: Facilitates the Quality Assurance Process and implementation of system upgrades, including guiding, testing and supporting the introduction, as well as, on going support of software systems. Ensures a stable systems environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance by thoroughly testing code prior to introduction into prorduction systems.
Essential Functions: Working with direction, this position will provide both testing and operational support for our Laboratory Application Database Systems. Specifically, this position will work with the development team and end users to test functionality of our Laboratory Application Database Systems. Primary responsibility is testing of database applications. Secondary responsibility is support of database applications. Support includes implementation, administration, maintenance and research for these applications. Collaboration with various staff is essential to manage projects and resolve short-term issues. Works with the Senior Application Administrator and IT Operations Manager to set project priorities and manage tasks. This position operates with minimal guidance from senior staff in support of the Laboratory applications.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

5 years of experience in Manual testing.Experience Development testing Oracle Applications and databases.Proficient with SQL developer and writing complex scripts for testing.Experience with writing test plansAutomation testing is a bonusUnderstanding of 21 CFR part 11 compliance is a bonusEnglish skills – excellent spoken and writing is a mustHighly organized and detailed oriented.Able to perform successfully under pressure while prioritizing and handling multiple projects or activities.
