JOB DESCRIPTION
Working with some direction of senior staff, this position will provide program implementation, operational and maintenance support for our server environment. The goal of this position is to maintain a stable systems environment with minimal downtime and maximum performance.
Functions amp; responsibilities: Perform data migration from on-premises environments into Azure/ AWS. Hands-on experience on Azure/AWS Command Line Interface. Responsible for day-to-day operations including installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, software, and related Azure/AWS infrastructure. Deep technical knowledge of complex Active Directory environments in medium to large enterprises that include multiple forests and trust relationships across the forests in firewalled networks Experience in implementing business continuity plans, recovery strategies and hardening strategies for Active Directory Domain Services environments Implementing controls to ensure appropriate security, performance, scalability and monitoring guidelines are achieved for the Active Directory instances. Experience integrating solutions with an Active Directory Domain Services environment, including scenarios such as Exchange, Azure, Office 365 Hosted solutions, Active Directory Certificate Services, Active Directory Federation Services and smartcard authentication scenarios Protocol-level expertise with LDAP and Kerberos Working knowledge of Identity Management, Single Sign on and Federated Identity principles Proficiency in designing, developing and testing software in PowerShell; willingness to learn and adopt new languages Fundamental understanding of secure application and environment design and management concepts Deployment of virtual machine on Azure/AWS Portal Planning the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design Conducting solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization' s financial guidelines Actively leading small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers. Identity / Authentication / Remediation policy in Azure/AWS. Knowledge Cloud Architecture including SaaS, IaaS and PaaS solutions and services Manage and monitor Office 365 services and hybrid infrastructure. Manage integration of the Office Suite on O365 i.e., Exchange, Skype, Teams, SharePoint, AD FS, OneDrive, etc. Knowledge of Azure Traffic Manager, Health-Check Monitoring Service, and SSL Certificate Management. Job Qualification
Education and Experience: BS degree in Computer Science or related area, or an equivalent combination of education, professional training and experience that provide the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities 1+ years' experience in System Administration supporting a networked server environment
Experience with at least one of the systems / environments which the Data Center Services department is supplying Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Business focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to implement and operate IT services
Demonstrated ability to solve complex system and technical problems.
Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail
Positive attitude with a commitment to a high quality of work
Demonstrate a competency to learn new technical skills
