Full Job DescriptionPURPOSE

The Project Startup Specialist role will be responsible to support the delivery and execution of project initiation and transition tasks for one or more newly awarded projects. The Startup Specialist will support the Project Lead and project leadership for globally scoped deliverables; collaborate with a global team in a joint effort to meet customer expectations; seek to recognize and implement ongoing continuous improvement in an effort to ensure the maturity of the Project Startup capability; support compliance with organizational and customer SOP's and KPI's; and help ensure that our deliverables provide the highest level of quality and value to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Project Startup Specialist, support the execution of all core project startup tasks, including the development and management of the integrated project plan, operational management plans (e.g. Safety Mngt. Plan, communication, quality and training plans), setup and management of the safety project file, eTraining folders and project mailboxes; activities include support of functional service line project setup tasks. Work with service delivery teams and business partners including, but not limited to, Systems, IT, contracts, proposals, HR and finance; provide direct customer support during initiation and transition phases Work with project teams and customers through the project initiation phase to help track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) on an account/portfolio level. Help ensure that consistent standardized processes are implemented globally and program deliverables meet expected quality, financial and productivity targets. Support and facilitate the quick response to any quality concerns or customer escalations, ensuring appropriate representatives from stakeholders and operational management are involved as appropriate. Support the delivery of monthly reports to customers and key internal stakeholders on the status of project startup activities.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Project management aptitude, experience and technical proficiency required; Project Management certification (PMP) preferred Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel; recent experience preferred Involves customer facing tasks; requires confidence, poise; able to present to internal and external stakeholders; MS PowerPoint proficiency preferred Good communication skills, written and verbal Involves customer facing tasks; experience preferred; requires confidence, poise Prefer safety/pharmacovigilance, CRO, pharma, and/or bio-pharma experience but not required; Working hours: General shift with flexibility to accommodate global colleagues and customers Location: US | Travel: Non
