Team background:
The Planning Analytics (PA) team serves a variety of operating groups in Macquarie. We develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for allocations/recoveries/forecasting/invoicing/journal posting. The Team is spread across Sydney, Gurugram, Houston, Jacksonville and Manila and provide round the clock support to business as they work on PA/TM1 models.
Responsibility:
The candidate is expected to develop bespoke PA applications, models, integrations, and interfaces according to business requirements. Enhance and suggest improvements to existing models. Work directly with Business Owners and Users.
Skills:
Technical
Deep understanding of all aspects of TM1 and Planning Analytics.
In-depth knowledge of multidimensionality, hierarchies, cubes design, Turbo Integrator processes, writing Rules and Feeders, developing Active Forms & TM1 Websheets, structured PAW templates, etc
Knowledge of PA and PAW security and user authentication principles.
Worked on at least 2 large scale E2E implementation of PA based projects preferably in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
Knowledge of integrating PA with Data warehouses, SQL, and Data Management principles.
Knowledge of PA administration, environment (CPU, RAM, Diskspace) management, and object deployment across DEV, UAT, DR, PROD.
Experience working with PA Local hosted on a cloud platform and/or PA on IBM SaaS
Experience in REST API, Python, Powershell, VBA, Power BI, Alteryx will be advantageous
Technical documentation skills, and experience using applications like Confluence
Experience using project tracking applications like JIRA.
Functional
Understanding of SCRUM methodology and experience working in an Agile environment
Able to conduct requirements workshops, gather requirements, translate into a PA design and develop project roadmaps.
Proactively monitor PA models and liaise with internal clients to ensure client satisfaction.
Promote the understanding of Planning Analytic within the business.
Willing to share knowledge with end users and team members and conduct training sessions
Work with other Macquarie Tech teams to implement and improve data flows and integrations as well as resolve issues.
Delivering all models as per corporate policies and practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field or equivalent.
At least 5+ years of experience in developing TM1/PA applications used by over 100 users.
Experience with technical design process and models.
Experience with Agile SW development processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
