The Position

As a Global Medical Advisor, you are expected to be the global medical specialist on the product/project within your responsibility towards internal and external customers. You will be responsible to provide medical and scientific support for key opinion leaders KOLs and other healthcare professionals on a product and collaborate with other departments within the organization, including commercial support for development of promotional materials. You are entrusted to fulfil the following responsibilities:

You will be responsible for transforming clinical trial data into scientific and commercial communication, used to support Novo Nordisk products. Additionally, you will be involved in clinical activities including maintain overview of internal and external clinical activities for specific product/project, provide market-oriented medical input to trial design, protocol development, and investigator selection etc. Furthermore, you will contribute to and execute global Health Care Professionals strategy, execute global advisory boards, and support speakers in preparation for presentation of NN data at conferences KOL Engagements. In addition to this drive development of publications according to publication plan and strategy for each product/project in collaboration with the Global Publication Team. You will support the medical education strategy for the portfolio including driving medical content for symposiums at international congresses and NN standalone external educational meetings.

Qualifications

Hold a degree of a medical doctor MBBS with MD and/or PhD. Strong clinical and/or research background in relevant areas Example: Diabetes mellitus, endocrinology, cardiology, obesity, internal medicine with interest in advanced scientific analysis and communication. Two or more years of pharmaceutical industry experience and experience in drug development is preferable. Strong Communication skills and fluent in both spoken and written English. Understanding of pharma business, pharma marketing practices and pharma law and guidance. Authored personal publications, held international medical presentations and written synopsis and protocols preferable. Strong professionalism, dedication and willingness to travel is essential.
