Responsible for collection of delinquent accounts, employing appropriate follow-up methods until payment has been received to resolve outstanding amounts with the goal of reduced DSO and improved past due A/R aging. Prepare reporting to describe the complete account status of significant collection issues.team lead • Review and analyze the aging for items as unapplied cash, short pay, and open credits team lead • Facilitate conference calls with Sales and other stakeholders to analyze data and reports to identify problems and resolve service issues. team lead• Collaborate with Sales to prepare and provide management with updates for monthly account reviews with the leadership team and escalate for assistance as needed. team lead • Train and mentor team members on policies, procedures, and best practices as needed. team lead • Support and oversee work of collections' analysts located in India. • Initiate and lead special projects. • Be able to lead in group discussions and present feedback to management team lead • Lead/create process improvement/initiatives • Run and provide any/all reports that the Manager runs as a back-up • Take on reports for collection team and clients as necessary team lead • Monitor and send out emails on behalf of Manager for reminders to the team regarding weekly tasks, updates, etc. • Other duties as assigned. Experience : Minimum Required: Years of experience: • 4+ years business experience within Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field • Majority of experience in customer collections Other required work-related experiences: • Proficient in Excel and Word (intermediate level) • Experience with PeopleSoft or another large ERP • Exemplary multi-tasking ability • Strong attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact • Ability to work in high volume, fast paced team setting to meet deadlines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
