Job SummaryTPC Group is seeking an experienced Maximo Administrator/Analyst who will be directly responsible for managing the Maximo CMMS program for all TPC sites. The Maximo Administrator works closely with the Maintenance and Reliability team to include Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, Schedulers, Reliability and Maintenance Engineers and the Engineering group to maintain the plant's assets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the setting-up, administration, and configuration of Maximo. Responsible for the following Maximo modules: Assets, Meters, Conditional Monitoring, Locations, PMs, Job Plans, Routes, Resources, Labor, Security, Failure Codes, Work Order Tracking, Inventory, Item Master, Purchase Requisitions, & Purchase Orders. Assess business process and system inefficiencies. Provide technical and procedural direction and/or support to all Maximo users. Provide training documentation updates. Implement, configure, upgrade, operate, and maintain IBM Maximo 7.6 Application System and Maximo 7.6 Oil and Gas Facilitate quarterly audit requirements Investigate and troubleshoot issues as needed Develop and manage reports; run queries, create ad hoc reports, publish KPIs. Assist Reliability Engineers with using Maximo data, reports, and graphics to pinpoint potential problem areas and enhance productivity Coach and educate users on the Maximo functions and best practices; serve as liaison for problem solving and escalation Start center development and maintenance
Knowledge | Experience | Skills:
Advanced computer skills (Excel, Data Analysis, SQL) Deep knowledge of Maximo applications Strong problem solving and analytical skills Clear understanding of Maximo EAM from the user point of view; ability to administer and configure the database and applications, including implementation, security setup, maintenance development, upgrade, and customization Working knowledge of enterprise asset and work management processes; oracle database, SQL script, and Rules Manager scripting preferred Functional and technical knowledge of BIRT reporting Functional and technical knowledge with WebSphere configuration and JMS Queues/messages Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and analytical skills are essential Good organizational, presentation and report writing skills Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Flexible and adaptable regarding learning and understanding of new functionalities Highly logical, proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills Maintain licensing compliance for application and change management Monitor, investigate, and diagnose incoming IT service requests and IT incidents for assigned application(s) Adheres to and champions the IT Governance programs (e.g. change management, communication, and release management) Develops customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer; anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction Experience configuring and troubleshooting Websphere Experience building and deploying EAR files Experience troubleshooting Maximo applications errors Experience configuring and using Maximo Migration manager Experience configuring Application Designer Experience configuring Workflow Designer Experience configuring Escalations and Cron Tasks Experience configuring Rules Manager
Minimum Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in IT or related Business field Minimum 5 years of experience with Maximo implementation and support. 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, maintaining, enhancing and supporting Maximo 7.6.0 or higher Proficient in understanding and supporting Maximo security architecture and LDAP integration Proficient in supporting Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) architecture and design Experience developing custom applications and enhanced configuration of the Maximo application Experience in developing Birt Reports and Adhoc Reports within Maximo Familiarity with ITIL concepts and the ability to follow problem, change, and incident management processes and procedures Must be able to independently resolve issues and efficiently self-direct work activities based on the ability to capture, organize, and analyze information Experience providing technical solutions to non-technical individuals Ability to deal with internal employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
IBM Maximo certifications or education (Certified Associate, Certified Deployment Professional, Certified Solution Advisor) Functional and technical knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite. Experience with integration to Oracle EBS via Maximo to Oracle Adapter Functional and technical knowledge of Akwire scheduling software or similar application Experience with Power BI reporting is a plus Maximo upgrade experience
