Job Posting Title:Academic Program Coordinator, Department of Medical Education, Dell Medical School----Hiring Department:Department of Medical Education----Position Open To:All Applicants----Weekly Scheduled Hours:40----FLSA Status:Exempt----Earliest Start Date:Immediately----Position Duration:Expected to Continue----Location:UT MAIN CAMPUS----Job Details:PurposeThe Dell Medical School Office of Student Affairs is seeking a full-time coordinator for the administrative and operational support for the medical student Wellness programs, Student Organizations, and Student Activities.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the ongoing development of Wellness programming and coordinate the operations within those programs.Implement and coordinate all student engagement programs to promote the development of students through student government, student organizations and activities, wellness promotion, social events and formal events of the school. Assist in the development of processes and informational materials to facilitate student development goals. Collaborate with the school Events Management team and Events Committee and other entities within the school to assist with coordination of all student-focused, school-wide events, the White Coat Ceremony, Match Day, and Commencement. This includes supporting that committee and implementing the decisions of that committee.Conduct follow-up surveys for input on events and programming as above for continual assessment and improvement. Develop recommendations on improvements.Process accounting and expense forms and procedures for student organizations, activities, events, and programming. Assist in all other areas of student Affairs, including admissions as needed.Other related functions as assigned.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree and three years of experience coordinating a program and performing complex administrative functions. Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines. Excellent written and oral communication skills that allow high-level interactions with a diverse academic and medical community. Skilled at working with internal and external customers. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based programs.
